By creating an account or using Soap Sapo ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Soap Sapo is a web-based cold process soap recipe calculator that allows users to formulate, save, and manage soap recipes. The Service is provided for informational and personal use purposes only.
3. Safety Disclaimer
Soap making involves the use of sodium hydroxide (lye), a caustic substance that can cause serious injury if handled improperly. Soap Sapo provides calculations as a reference tool only. Always verify calculations independently, follow all safety precautions, wear appropriate protective equipment, and consult authoritative resources before making soap. Soap Sapo is not responsible for any injury, damage, or loss arising from the use of recipes or calculations provided by the Service.
4. Accuracy of Calculations
While we strive to provide accurate saponification values and calculations, Soap Sapo makes no warranty, express or implied, as to the accuracy or completeness of any calculation. Oil saponification values can vary by supplier and batch. Always cross-reference results with trusted sources.
5. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of all recipes and content you create using the Service. By saving content to Soap Sapo, you grant us a limited license to store and display that content to you. We do not claim ownership of your recipes.
7. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to misuse the Service, including but not limited to: attempting to gain unauthorized access, scraping or harvesting data, transmitting malware, or using the Service for any unlawful purpose.
8. Subscription and Billing
Certain features require a paid subscription. All fees are stated in US dollars. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us at support@soapsapo.com.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Soap Sapo and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify users of material changes by email or in-app notice.
